Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

PTSD SELDOM JUST GOES AWAY ON ITS OWN.
Eye Movement Desensitzation and Reprocessing "EMDR" is a key
element to deleting painful reoccurring memories; this is a program that
is effective with 70- 80% of the population dealing with PTSD issues.

With wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan, PTSD has gained the
attention of the national press. However, PTSD is not just a
war-borne phenomenon. PTSD can develop in anyone who has
suffered through/endured some traumatic event in their life.
Spousal or child abuse, rape, incest, a car accident, natural disaster or the loss
of a child are but a few examples of traumatic events that can
lead to PTSD.


Mediation Services


Litigation can be, and usually is, a VERY COSTLY process. The
oufcome is dependent on +he decision of a judge or jury and this
takes the outcome ouf of your hands! When one party loses, it
ALWAYS leaves a sense of unfairness and hur+ which can linger
for years.
Mediation allows the oufcome of your case to be in your control.
Through the help of the media or the contesting parties reach a
mufually agreed upon outcome. This is the preferred way of
managing divorce settlements and child custody agreernents.
Moreover, it significanfly reduces the cost otherwise paid in legal
fees!
Mediation continues to be the best way to settle rnost civil
litigation in business matters, conflict within the family, neighbor

Attorney-specific Second Opinions

Dr. Ross is available to render a "second opinion" in reviewing
data of ofher therapists. He will carefully scrutinize all
evaluations submitted in regard to accuracy and propriety of
opinions and conclusions. This allows the attorney to be a more
effective advocate for his or her client.
